Coming off of a 2014 contest season that saw him notch his first pro victory and crack the top ten on the Olympia stage, Charles “The Tank” Dixon appears to be firing on all cylinders heading into his second consecutive appearance on the International stage.
Since linking up with bodybuilding genius Trey Hodge, Dixon’s has both literally and figuratively grown before our very eyes, transforming himself from a relative afterthought into one of the 212 division’s most formidable threats. Ending an offseason that may have been his most productive yet – one in which The Tank blew up to a cartoonish looking 240 plus pounds – it appears that the Dixon-Hodge dynamic duo are on the cusp of something special once again.
Dixon opened up some eyes at last year’s Arnold Classic where he brought home a 6th place finish behind the likes of Flex Lewis, David Henry, and Hidetada Yamagishi – all of whom are either out of this year’s contest or have been toppled by The Tank, as in Yamagishi was at the 2014 Chicago Pro – it leaves the door open for a much improved Charles Dixon to step in and seize what would be the biggest win of his career to date.
