Coming off of what was arguably the best year of his young career thus far, the bar is set high headed into 2015 for rising IFBB star, Jon Delarosa.
Since he first burst onto the scene back in 2009 when he won the overall at NPC Junior Nationals, Delarosa has been pegged as a future star with all the tools to have a long and successful career. After struggling to really nail his conditioning for a few years at the top of the amateur division, Delarosa silenced his critics in 2011 by bringing what was then his all-time best look to the stage at Nationals where he captured both the overall and his IFBB pro card.
Over the last few years, Delarosa has really put in some serious work and transformed himself into a legitimate threat to contend for the title in nearly any show he enters. Last season Delarosa started off the year at a blistering pace, placing top five or better in the first four contests he entered, including a fourth place finish in a stacked New York Pro lineup.
Since he linked up with Chris Aceto nearly two years ago, Delarosa has finally managed to find a winning formula to consistently nail his conditioning. If Jon Delarosa continues to improve at the rate that we’ve seen over the last few years, 2015 could very well be the year he finds himself landing in the winner’s circle for the first time on an IFBB stage.
