Mike & V: Candice Keene

admin December 11, 2013 Comments

“The Mike and V Bodybuilding Show, another marquee guest and another home grown IFBB Pro from AZ. When we found out Candice was next on the show we were ecstatic because if you don’t know Candice Keene you will now and not only will you learn more about her- you’ll be huge fan! As down to earth as they come, Candice “Cool” Keene was just that – cool! In just her 2nd show Candice earned her IFBB Pro card at Nationals, since turning pro she might be the busiest competitor in the IFBB, competing in about 4 shows a year on average, she’s now done 26 pro shows – WOW is right, Candice won the Arnold and now has her sights on the 2014 Ms Figure Olympia where she placed 3rd the last 2 years. As successful as Candice is competing she’s more than just a top figure competitor, she is also a full time student and entrepreneur.”

MHTH More Human Than Human

“I was born in Dallas, Texas, grew up in Phoenix, AZ and now reside in Orlando, FL.  I am an IFBB Figure Pro, an FMG Athlete, and the current Miss Figure International (Arnold’s).  I am also an ISSA certified personal trainer and a student at the University of Central Florida.

My journey started at my first show on November 8, 2008, and continued on to the NPC Nationals two weeks later where I earned my IFBB Pro Card.  That’s when I truly found my passion for health and wellness, and living a fit lifestyle. I have been consistently competing since turning pro, climbing up the ranks. The 2013 Figure Olympia will be my 4th consecutive year on the Olympia stage, and will be be my 28th show to date!

My drive to succeed is strong, and my will to never give up is just as strong. I’m an individual who knows that nothing in life comes easy – hard work, dedication, perseverance and patience are key. Achieving anything in life requires a certain mindset, having the passion, and the belief in yourself every step of the way even when faced with obstacles.  I feel blessed and grateful to be able to live the life that I live and be able to do the things that I do.” – http://www.allmaxnutrition.com/athletes-type/candice-keene/
