Hailing all the way from Paraguay, there aren’t many bodybuilders who have the unique combination of size and aesthetic as Pablo Ayala. Pablo returns to the professional bodybuilding ranks after a brief ‘downsizing’ period last year. This shift was due to a hernia operation which forced him to compete around a ‘mere’ 260lb. After a quality offseason, and linking back up with his old coach George ‘Bullet Proof’ Farah, Pablo looks to finally have all the pieces falling into place for him both on and off the stage.
A recent picture emerged of Ayala, posted by his coach Farah. The picture was taken five weeks out, as the duo prepares for the Orlando Pro. As funny as his surroundings are (he had a child just days before competing in Phoenix,) the picture clearly demonstrates why Pablo is a serious threat at any show he enters.
Pablo has frequently been on the cusp of greatness, continually placing well in professional events, but has yet to make a jump to the top of the placings. At last year’s Phoenix Europa, Pablo placed just outside of the money, getting 7th place. This was after he had gotten the hernia-surgery midseason, that stalled his progress temporarily, but enabled him a much higher ceiling of potential in the long-term. With (aesthetic) health issues addressed, a solid off-season in the books, and the right guidance under the tutelage of George Farah; be sure to keep watch for Pablo as he is sure to shock some people in Orlando!
